ORCHESTAL TEMPLATE DESIGN
“If you usually start your work in the same way (even if you don’t), building a template that suits your musical preferences and work style can save you a lot of time when starting a new song, allowing you to capture the initial idea more quickly from your head to the DAW »
Dennis Desantis
In this course I want to present an objective point of view (I will try) on the aspects to take into account when designing a template. I’ll talk about my point of view, because I have it, and that of other composers, as well as different configurations to get to the same place: a template that works. After having pointed out the pros and cons, you can choose the configuration that best suits your needs.
