Diego Stocco is a famous sound and instrument designer known among other things for his sound designs for Omnisphere 1 and 2. He has a very interesting YouTube channel that I recommend you visit.
I want to show you a very interesting video where it shows us how you can really make music with any object. A plate (and imagination) in this case.
It seems that he was about to cut a piece of cake when he noticed that the movement of the plate on the counter made an interesting sound. He completely forgot about the cake and started doing some sound experiments by pressing and tapping with his fingers.
It reminds me of those times when you are so inspired, that you even forget to eat!
